ExperienceI will teach your kids life skills that matter, not what is being taught in school but what could help them in the real life. I will help them to become more life-ready financially, socially, and mentally.
About me...My name is Tu. I graduated from UC Davis with a BS Degree in Biology. Although, I majored in the health field, I recognized that in order to be successful in life you have to be smart financially.
After I graduated from College, I decided to get a job with the State. It was for a very simple reason. Working for the state means stability and it leaves me time to plan and work toward my life goals which is entrepreneurship.
I've always wanted to be Rich. Why? Because to me money is very important. Money can help me live the life I want to live. To be financially secured and free and to do more of the things I like. Life to me is short and it doesn't make sense to spend most of it working or doing the things I don't like just to live. To me, that is not really living. Living to me is basically being able to do the things I like whenever I like.
In addition, with lots of money I can help make a difference in people lives. And by that, I don't mean just giving people money but I want to create more opportunities for people to change their lives.
Our education system is good but it isn't enough. I know this because after I graduated from Davis, I was still not ready for the real life. I was scared, intimidated, and I doubted myself whether I have learned in school will be enough to help me survive the real life. And I know for a fact that many people who graduated from college feel the same way I did.
In short, I've learned that to be successful in life you will need both education and experience. My strength is I am a ambitious learner, self-motivated, a planner, and an educator. I discovered that I have a real skill for influence those around me.
Just because you have a high GPA doesn't mean you'll be successful in the real life. It is a positive indicator but it doesn't really mean much. I knew this because in high school, I would get all As on my report cards yet I didn't learn much or anything that would be applicable to my life now. Yes, there were skills that were transferable but it's not like I became equipped for the real life thanks to the As from those classes.
Helping a student gets from an F to an A is important but that's only short term assistance. I'm interested in long term helping. What I want to do is help empowered the student's minds to plan out their futures and to have a successful life.
I recently wrote a book called "How to Get a State Job" to help people get jobs with the state of California. For information on how to get a job or CA state job please visit my website www.howtogetastatejob.com.
