Experience
I have several years of experience teaching English to middle school, junior high, and high school students and I also have more than 50 hours of experience tutoring college students. I am dedicated to helping students improve their English reading comprehension and writing skills. In addition, I can help students increase their understanding of English vocabulary and grammar. My goal is to encourage a love for English in each of my students, whether they are just learning how to read, preparing to take the SAT, or writing papers for a college class. I cater each tutoring session to the student's needs and if necessary, I take additional time outside of the tutoring session (at no additional charge, of course) to research methods or materials that I think will be helpful for the student. I aim to equip my students with the skills and knowledge necessary to use English competently for the rest of their lives.
