#### Experience

I have tutored elementary school children at a private after-school institution. There I tutored various subjects which include math, science and English. Furthermore, I have experience tutoring college students at San Francisco State University in subjects like Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, and Physics.Acceptance into graduate school requires taking the GRE exam. I got a 750 on the analytical part of the exam.

I believe I fit perfectly as a tutor because I am both patient, experienced and knowledgeable about mathematics and physics. Also, I possess a passion to teach others about subjects I am vehemently interested in. I would like a chance to prove my passion to you.

I have taken courses in engineering. In other words, these courses applied what one learns in their respective calculus, algebra and physics courses. Taking engineering courses helps solidify what one has learned both in prior physics and math courses.

In addition to all the above, I have taken and passed the California EIT (Engineer in Training) exam. This exam allows a college graduate in engineering to practice engineering in California under the supervision of a professional engineer.

If you are interested I can have a conversation with you in Spanish. I speak it fluently but unfortunately I cannot help you with the academic side of the language i.e. grammar, etc.

#### Hobbies

I enjoy cooking and reading. The types of books I read are from a large spectrum of genres. This include history, engineering and non-fiction books. I just finished reading Malcolm Gladwell's book, Outliers; a fascinating book about the factors that contribute to a person's success in life.In addition, I enjoy watching TED lectures and lectures on engineering and physics on Youtube.
