Having retired from teaching students for two decades, I have been tutoring students one on one since 2016 with students of a wide range of ages from 6-16. Working with each student as a unique individual, I am always encouraging and patient. I have a systematic approach to teach paragraph and essay writing. My students improve their writing skills after only a few lessons. My young primary grade readers have improved two grade levels within months. My goal in teaching is to give my students the skills they need to read and write with both confidence and excellence.

I am married with 2 children and 10 grandchildren. My husband and I have pastored the Thai Community Church in Citrus Heights for the past 25 years. I love working with students of various ethnic backgrounds, currently tutoring students whose parents came to America from China, South Korea, Nigeria, and Romania. I knit items for charity and have played the flute since I was 8 years old.
