Matthew received his undergraduate degree in Neurolinguistics from Duke University where he earned a full merit scholarship. He earned masters degrees in Philosophy of Biology from the University of Chicago and Music Composition from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Experience
I've taught test prep for ten years to students of all learning styles, with particular experience working with English Language Learners. I enjoy guiding students through tricky Critical Reading passages as well as the hardest math problems. I've worked privately and for many of the major test prep companies. An hour studying with me is friendly and collaborative, with a goal of both learning new material and also feeling calmer. My goal is for you to feel more confident by the end of the session :)
