Experience
-Just returned from teaching ESL in South Korea for the last 3 years -Taught at the UC Riverside Educational Center as a program instructor -I have tutored 4 students ages 6-14. -Students were below grade level in these specific subjects but have advanced past grade level. -I have 3 degrees focused on English and Liberal Arts, but I am flexible with elementary students. -I have a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certificate (received in April 2012) I have experience tutoring younger students and I absolutely love it. I enjoy a one-on-one as it is the most effective way to focus and really progress. It is very important for learning to be both fun and successful, and I make sure my students have a great experience. Especially with younger students, I incorporate games and activities that not only challenges and helps progress, but also keeps them interested and motivated.
