Experience
I tutored writing for 5 years at CSU, Fresno, helping college students with their papers, research, etc. I also tutored elementary aged students in various subjects for one year. I love tutoring because of the "light bulb" moment. I gain a lot of fulfillment from watching a student make new connections. To fulfill my Master's degree I wrote a Master's Project on Resilience, and presented it at the Graduate Research Symposium at CSU, Fresno in 2011. I graduated with Honors from my graduate program, and am a member of Chi Sigma Iota, the Counseling Honors Society.
