I want to be a tutor because I want to help people that are struggling with a subject. I have been teaching and tutoring for years (3 1/2 in Mexico and tutoring for 1 year in the United States) and I really enjoy it. Traveled to homes of at risk youth and tutored them. Dealt with children that were not initially receptive to tutoring. Explained to students why education was important. Tutored beginning/intermediate Spanish, elementary maths, and English reading and language arts
