Education

I received my Bachelor's of Science degree with Joint Chemistry and Biology Major at Harvey Mudd College in 2014. I chose Psychology as my concentration. My final semester I made Dean's List with a 3.3 GPA and was a Presidential Scholarship Recipient throughout my 4 years. I most recently attended UCSF School of Medicine Post-Baccalaureate Program where I earned a UCSF Graduate Certificate in May of 2016. I completed a year's worth of upper-division science courses with 3.8+ GPA.

Experience

I'm experienced in tutoring math and science from grade school thru the college level. I have experience with tutoring regular coursework as well as standardized test material such as the SAT, for example. I'm a tutor because I believe helping others achieve their academic goals is empowering! I get satisfaction from helping others and seeing the lightbulb click when students start to "get it."

I am very interested in the STEM fields and the field of medicine. I am a medical scribe and enjoy being a part of the medical community. In my free time, I enjoy the great outdoors by going hiking, paddling, skydiving and much more. I also like to play basketball and go on runs near the wilderness. I aspire to be a physician who serves the underserved and people who are marginalized.
