Experience: Tutoring on and off for the last 3 years. Work Experience: 18 years working in the social service field. Last 8 years working for a school district in Sacramento, with high school, middle school and elementary students in special education. Courses: Education courses in English, History and Math. I am interested in becoming a tutor, as I enjoy raising the "academic bar" for those children who do not think or feel they are very good in school. I also enjoy teaching students to love learning outside of the classroom, and how what they learn relates to their everyday environment.
