My current accomplishments and experience in the field of Education includes the CBEST Exam Passed 2004 (California Substitute Teaching), Current Tutor at Like Academy in Elk Grove, CA. Spent 4 years as a tutor during Undergrad helping students comprehend college algebra, basic sciences, 1st year Spanish and ESL writing and proofreading for Grammar. Was trained by Dr. Chun Wa Chu on tutoring techniques from the College Reading and Learning Association. Goal is to transition into Education field as a Science Educator for the High School and College Levels. Science-fiction, NBA and NFL, Statistics, Computer-Surfing and arcade games such as Street Fighter, News and Comedy. Not much of a disciplinarian when it comes to tutoring. I get a feel for student's learning style and adjust session to that. If explanations are not clear I will try various methods and have patience so will not get angry at student or rush student.
