SERVICES Singapore Math Instruction Being able to do the problems required in elementary math education is much different that being able to successfully teach students. The U.S. ranks 25th in the world for math education. Singapore in any given year is first or second. I am trained in and am a student of Singapore math instruction. After three years of engineering school I switched majors and revived my BS in mathematics. I also have my MBA with a concentration in finance. I'm also a mom of a 12 year old. Please don't let your child think they are "bad" at math. It is usually an issue with their instruction. Singapore math is not about rote memorization but understanding through concrete, pictorial to abstract concepts. The best part is learning math this way is interesting, creative, and fun!
