University of California, Davis 2013 - BA, Psychology with electives in American and Techno-Cultural studies. I have taken a wide variety of humanities, social science, and technical courses both in person and on-line. I've completed 48 quarter units of core psychology including an Educational Psychology, Cognitive Development, Developmental Disorders, and Human Development "Individual Differences in Cognition courses." My psychology elective foci were two upper division music psychology courses. One was an introductory course--the other a research seminar I have also completed an Institutional Review Board (IRB) on-line certificate and been a participating subject ( for class credit) in a research study at University of California, Davis.
Experience
Experience working as an Instructional Assistant with 16-22 yr old High School Special Education students--both in class and Workability I; Completed college tutoring class and tutored college reading at American River College. I have creative ways of teaching students that learn by using multiple modalities. I encourage physically manipulating representational objects and multimodal reinforcement to aid concept formation.
