Experience

-Tutor and teacher at a local after school academy for elementary through high school. -Volunteer Physics and Math Tutor – CSU Sacramento: 2011-present -Volunteer Physics Tutor – Sierra College: 2011 -Math Tutor – Sierra College: 2011 I have an updated LiveScan. I very much enjoy helping others come to realizations about a subject that had previously escaped them. I have struggled most of my life through school and the learning process and I like helping others through the same difficulties. Tutoring also helps keep my knowledge set strong, which I will need for graduate school. I am taking a year off between my Physics B.S. and graduate school in order to volunteer for a particular research project and am trying to find just enough work to keep a roof over my head while I do.

Hobbies

I am both geeky and nerdy. I love playing video games, D&D and other geeky pursuits. I am also a student of La Verdadera Destreza (“The True Art”: Spanish Swordsmanship circa 1500 AD) at a local sword school and nerd out over various medieval sword fighting techniques.
