Graduated in 2013 with AA-T Kinesiology and AA Social Science from College of San Mateo with a 3.10 GPA. Graduated in 2015 with a BS Kinesiology with a focus in Physical Education from CSU Sacramento with a 3.24 GPA.

Experience

During my time at College of San Mateo, I was a teacher's assistant during the Math in the End Zone program for the football team. As a teacher's assistant I helped solve problems and show the students easier ways to complete the problems. I am a Physical Education teacher, but I also hold a talent in math and I want to be able to help out others gain an understanding of math like I do. For the High School Exit Exam I placed in the higher percentile for math, which helped me score out of some college classes. For my SAT, I was 50points away from getting a perfect score in the math section. I also succeeded in my CBEST credentials for the math section. Although I know a lot about math, becoming a Physical Education teacher I had to also take many science classes which I believe I can be helpful with.

Hobbies

Since I am a Physical Education teacher, I believe in being active or spending some time of the day moving. I like to engage in games and hands on activity when it comes to learning because I believe there are more benefits than to just sitting in a class taking notes. I also like to relate the subjects to real life experiences to make the learning a lot easier and more applicable to life. I believe in that knowledge is power and setting someone up for success is ideal. We stand on the shoulders of the people who stood before us and I am just lending a helpful shoulder to stand on.
