I am currently working as an assistant professor. I teach biochemistry, biology, neuroscience, pharmacology and cell and molecular biology. I am PMP certified (Project management institute) The reason why I want to be a tutor: I have been tutoring, delivering talks in international conferences and teaching for more than 11 years. I have truly enjoyed every minute I taught in and truly love the feeling of witnessing how students benefit and are keen on grasping new knowledge. Teaching Experience: -Assistant Professor - California Northstate University (June - 2018 - Present). ** Teaches biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, pharmacology, and cell & molecular biology. -The American University in Cairo Teaching Assistant (September, 2010 – May, 2011) **Assisted in two courses by preparing and giving lectures, preparing assignments, correcting exams and coordinating activities. Those lectures were conducted once per week during a course of 8 months where I designed them to be interactive, motivating and above all to encourage other students to dig deep into the topic given and have their input. ** I was selected to give a lecture on monoclonal antibodies, obesity, marine drugs and cancer therapeutics to 500 students. Honors and Awards: AWARDS AND HONORS Yousif Jameel PhD fellowship- The American University in Cairo (2010-2014).
