I love tutoring because I love to solve problems. I have my Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. To me, tutoring is just like engineering, both are dependent on solving problems. While I was studying for my bachelor's degree, I took numerous calculus classes. I also coached high school volleyball. After graduating college, I decided to start tutoring so I could share my experiences and knowledge with other people and help them succeed in school. I am able to help with algebra I and II, trigonometry, and calculus; however, my favorite class to tutor is algebra I, because it is the beginning of learning how to solve equations. It is very important for students to have a firm understanding of algebra I. As a tutor, I believe in being enthusiastic and patient. I love mathematics and I want my students to love it too. I believe that you cannot build without tools and in math, it is important to have every tool in your toolbox. I look forward to helping my students fill their academic toolbox and watching them succeed. When I am not teaching, you can find me running, biking, and doing yoga.
