I took Highest Honors and Distinction at University of California - Santa Barbara in my Biological Sciences major. Music was my minor. I was then one of the eight university tutors in biology in the Campus Learning Assistance Services Program. I have taught individual students and classes with over twenty-five students in attendance. I also led reviews for upcoming exams. As a teacher I have been well received and garnered a number of flattering evaluations. I ask questions, using the Socratic teaching method, so that I can involve my pupils in learning and push them to actively seek solutions and knowledge. I love to learn and I try to communicate that love to my pupils and provide a comfortable and stimulating place to learn. I am presently attending medical school. I enjoy sharing my passion for learning, by getting students excited as they pursue science through a positive learning environment. I tutor many science subjects such as chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, biochemistry, life science, and many others. I am also able to help students prepare for a successful MCAT test. In addition to scientific subjects, I can tutor in study skills, music and music theory, and other subjects.I like the piano and learning new songs. I enjoy riding my bike, dancing, and hiking.
