Semi-retired, but good-natured and would like to continue intellectual challenges and communication. Although my experience is mostly in the R&D industry (both practical and exotic aspects of defense science), clear written and oral exposition has always been an important part of my work, and I think a good qualification for tutoring in my areas of expertise. I enjoy "practical" rather than abstract problems and make computation an important part of problem solving.
